As much as I like Linux, I will tell you that you will not be able to play
many of the new games out there. WineX will support some games, but the
truth is it simply does not have 100% support for many games (missing
textures, slow frame rates etc..). If you want to be able to play new
games you will need to install Linux as a dual boot, install windows on a
10-15Gb partition and then install Linux. You will easily be able to dual
boot between the two. This is really the only solution (for now) if you
are a heavy gamer.
