Hmmm, I guess I misread the Mandrake default of lilo for boot loader selection.

Downside is if you lose grub.conf you cannot boot the other OSs.

(while lilo has to be updated after changes in lilo.conf).

Upside much easier to remember sequence to boot in singer user mode.
