Sorry but GoDaddy notifies you of upcoming expirations, and they have a
very nice system that lets you easily view when your domains are going to
expire, you can synchronize all your domains so they renew at the same
time, and you can renew before expiration comes up. If you let your
domain expire despite everything they do to let you know expiration is
coming up then you deserve to get charged an idiot fee.
