Here is my question:
I have a hostname of freewebspace.planetdns.net
I have a box on the internal lan with an address of 192.168.30.1
-We'll call is comp1.freewebspace.planetdns.net
-Let's say someone outside of my network tries to open
a webpage on comp1.freewebspace.planetdns.net. They
would have to query my nameserver on freewebspace.planetdns.net
in order to obtain the local ip number.
-Can I configure my nameserver to direct their request
accordingly?
-It seems like a damn impossible thing.
