I have installed the kdetoys package on my Mandrake 10 machine. I want
the kworldclock to create a wallpaper that shows the sunlight on the
worldmap for me.
I have created a script in my home directory called worldmap that has
the following:
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/kworldclock --dump -o /home/harry/wallpaper/map.jpg --size 1028x768
I setup crontab to run the script but it doesn't update the wallpaper.
If I try and run the script from a console it comes up with an error
message:
Can't determine DISPLAY
I think that is why cron can't run it but I can from Aterm or xTerm.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get cron to update the map for me?
