"A laser beam with a wavelength of 1 nm" also hasn't been realized. It's
a perfectly well defined concept, though.

Well, in talking about a missing feature one needs to keep in mind that
it might have to be implemented some time. As a matter of fact, a
discussion about a feature without considering if and how it might be
implemented is rather useless IMHO.
