newsgroup (comp.os.linux.advocacy). It does not address any of the issues
concerning Linux. It does not involve anything even remotely related to
Linux or Windows.

It is nothing other than a vicious attack against a person.

You had no cause to do this. If the person you're talking about has made
incorrect posts, then by all means, tear his posts apart. Show where he's
wrong, pile up the evidence or your opinions about what he said, and go for
it.

When you simply attack the person, you have lost the battle. You do things
like this when you have no other means of "winning" an argument. Can't
out-argue the guy, can't show his posts to be wrong, so you just go after
the person himself. It's a logical fallacy, and it's morally wrong.

In my opinion, you should apologize to Mr. Ballard, and have your post
removed. And you should apologize to the various groups to which you
posted this garbage.

Shame on you.
