Hi Folks,
How can I get the information of...
1. the no. and type of hard disk my linux system recognizes.
2. hard disk information like, its serial number, etc.
...through a command that does not require root privileges, like the
kind of information we get on Solaris thro' 'iostat -En'.
Are the commands different for different flavors of linux (Redhat,
SuSe, etc.)?
Thanks for any help,
jsb_bh
