Huh, all projects are open, of course there are a lot of Alpha/beta
software. I run a lot of beta software on my system and they have all
been very stable. If you are worried, don't use any beta software on
your system- you have a choice.
This is unlike a lot on commercial companies which pass on alpha/beta
software to their customers as released versions just to meet
deadline.

Ha, ha- I have been using Linux for more than 10 years and my data
have always been safe. This is unlike some other OS which I have use
also since version 3.1 which constantly BSOD and loose data.
