Anyone use wondershaper on bellsouth?

I have been looking into using wondershaper

on my redhat 9 server/gateway box, I have a bellsouth ADSL connection; 3Mbps
down and 380Kbps up. My problem is that large http uploads kill the bandwidth
on my LAN. I was able to get around this by specifying FTP upload speeds in
vsftpd.conf but the http uploads are getting out of hand.

Has anyone had any experience with wondershaper and how were you able to
configure the script? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
