Why should it be? It's not the manual page for the area of knowledge
involved in writing the config file. There's a separate man page for
that (as I said! And as it says).

There is no reason why it should tell you so. It's not its business.
With the knowledge that you need Stupid mode, you then look in the SEE
ALSO section of the manpage, note the reference to the manpage for
wvdial.conf, and go read that.

And what is hard about doing the obvious? I see plainly the reference to
the man page.

That would be useful if it had been. RH is "designed" by computer
scientists who have no idea what they are doing. SuSE *is* designed -
by engineers.

There is no difficulty in use - just read the man page and do what it
says! How am I supposed to guess you should use Yast instead? And where
is the man page for it?
