wrong resolution with radeon 9600 dvi and belinea 101556

hi. I'm running Suse 9.1 with KDE, Excalibur ATI Radeon 9600 and a Belinea
101556 TFT. everything is fine as long as i am using the analog videooutput
of my graphiks card, but when i swith to dvi out, the kde resolution is
totally messed up. My defaults are set to 1024x768 at 60hz. With dvi my
resolution is set to a way lower value of 460x something. I've got the
newest kernel.What could be wrong?
