Once the CD is on, load from CD.

If you can't stand the slow down, set the RAID1 disk sharing the CD bus,
as disabled. Then all writes will be only to the other disk, with your
RAID1 operating in degraded mode. Once you are all set, power down,
remove CD, reboot, and raidhotadd the disk back. It rebuilds and you're
done.

Probably faster overall just to suffer the slowdown with CD sharing IDE
bus though. It's not *that* bad.
