The hard drive failed on my daughters computer running Windows 98.
I replaced the drive and salvaged what I could using Partition Magic 8.
Now I have a ton of files named FILE0000.CHK, FILE0001.CHK, ad infintum.
Is there a tool available for Linux that can batch-search through these
files and locate particular types?
I'm mostly interested in retreiving her digital photo jpg's.
