OK. I looked for a gimp specific group on my newsserver but couldn't
find any and I hate mailing lists so I'm asking here to see if anyone
knows.
I have perl 5.8 and gimp 1.2.3 installed on my linux box and I'd like
to make some batch conversions to a bunch of tif files. I looked at the
Gimp:: modules and it seems that all the functionality is designed to
run from within the gimp program itself (plugin style). All the examples
I've come across register the function to run interactively in the gimp.
Can I use the Gimp:: modules from the command line without an instance
of gimp running? and if so, can someone point me to examples of code
and how to run that code?
