Yes it would wouldnt it, except that I was never asked to set a root
password by the Ubuntu installer. And the root account seems to be locked
out. As well the su command gives me a authentication error. I get root by
pulling the root terminal off the foot menu.

A lot of good that will do me.... especially since I cant log in as root.
