Hi,
I know that if we want to be formal, we have to say about GNU/linux
rather than linux, in reference that Linux is the kernel and GNU is
the "basic applications of the operating system" (with your permision
I call it "enviroment").
But, is there an operating system that it's not based on GNU
enviroment and with linux in kernel that were free and open source?.
I know OS in which kernel is not linux (GNU/FreeBSD, GNU/HURD, ...
GNU/[kernel]), but not vice-versa. Can you say me someone?
Thanks in advance,
Xan.
