Hi Guys,

Another question about RAID. What should be the ideal stripe size for a
level 10 RAID array. I have 8 drives of size 300 GB each connected to
the 3Ware RAID controller card. I am setting it up on SuSE Linux 9.2(64
bit).

The card gives me options to set the stripe size at 64kb, 128kb, 256kb,
512kb or 1MB.

I am not expecting too much of a sequential access but rather a lot of
random access activity on this setup.

thanks

Amrik
