SuSE 9.2 is the latest and greatest. It comes with Games, Web Server, Databases, etc... However NOvell markets this to the computer enthusiest not the corporate customer. Meaning they'll rev it every 6 months and its not supported OS.

If you want support buy NLD. NLD has different color scheme and all the server stuff stripped out. They also add iFolder, Zenworks clients into this OS for the enterprise. This is commerically supported every 5 years and only revved every 1 1/2 years or so.

My understanding is that the Novell dostribution will be supported on a
subscription basis only, the Suse 9.2 will contiue to be updated as
normal through YOU fir it's lifetime. Further I uderstand that the
Novell distro is a subset of the full 9.2 professional papckage. I have
run the Novell version for a few day on a machine...it is pretty slick,
and in the right type of environment could possibly replace some windows
machines on it's own merits. Not sure if that helps any, hopefully it
will. By the way a fully installable demo version of the Novell package
is available for download. If you need the url let me know.
