The OOM killer kills whatever it thinks will best free up some memory. You
can't tell much about what is wrong by looking at what gets killed. Most
likely you either have a daemon with a memory leak or simply do not have
enough virtual memory for what you are trying to do. How much RAM do you
have, how much swap do you have, and what services are you running?
