Hi,

I've the problem that my soundcard (nvsound (NForce 2 sound chip)) is at
the 4. position in the alsa device list on boot. Therefore I'm not able to
play any sound atm. I remember there was some kernel parameter like
nvsound.index=0 or something like that, to fix that problem, that my
soundcard is at position 1 in the alsa device list.

Anyone knows how to handle this?

Thx in advance, Steve
