Problems with vmware (GRUB Error 21)

On my primary/Master HDD I have installed winXP Pro.

I have made a copy of my two hardware profiles and called them Virtual
Machine and Physical Machine, thats what they tell you to do on this site:

On my secondary/Slave HDD I have installed Ubuntu. And I have mounted winXP.

When I boot I get to a grub menu where I can choose if I would like to run
winXP or Ubuntu and it works fine.

I have now installed vmware workstation 5 in Ubuntu and it starts fine. I
would like to use the winXP installation I have already installed on my
Primary HDD.

I have followed the Wizard and choose custom so I can choose to use my
Primary HDD instead of installing a new virtual drive.

But when I power up this partition I get this error:

GRUB Loading stage1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 21

Anyone have an idea?
