wireless card setup HELP needed !!!

Can anybody help me get my wireless LAN PCI card working on my Linux system?
Any help greatly appreciated! Mandrake/Mandriva LE2005. Linksys Wireless-B
802.11b 2.4 GHZ router. When i attempt to configure wireless for my newly
installed ZyXEL ZyAIR G-300 802.11g Wireless LAN PCI card [listed as
'certified compatible' on Mandrake Hardware page for Mandrake 10.1], the
card is detected ("Prism GT 802.11g, PCI bus, Module:prism54, eth1), but I
can not get an internet connection. When I go into the [Mandrake] Control
Center and attempt to set up and configure the wireless card, I see the
terminal outputting (from which I called up the control center)
"SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory"
"SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported"
In the control center configuration, I tried both "Managed" (set up by
Mandrake during initial detection of card) and "Auto" for the 'Operating
Mode' option. For 'Network Name' I put in 'TuxCentralSecure' which is what
I have set in my wirless Linksys router. For RTS/CTS option I set it to
'auto' (popup help said that was an option), likewise I typed in 'auto' for
Fragmentation option. All other fields left blank as I have no idea what to
type in for Network ID, Operating Frequency, Sensitivity Threshold, Bitrate
in b/s, Encryption Key. I turned off WEP encryption on my router until I
get my wireless card working, so encryption/key should not be an issue at
this point. eth0 is my wired LAN card, eth1 is the wireless card; I pulled
the eth cable off of eth0 for detection and configuration of eth1.
