Hi all,I have been playing around with Knoppix as my first experience
with Linux and been having fun. I wonder if someone would be kind enough
to help me on the issue of providing a Root password? I have spent the
last 3 days trying to overcome my natural tendency to want to learn
everything ten minutes ago and have now reached a mental brick wall...
and all I want to do is reset the time which is not possible without the
password! As you can see from this ramble my brain has melted.
Thanks for any help on this and any other pointers you might have for
this well meaning newbie, J.
PS. I have put Knoppix as a Poor Mans Install on and old 500 PC with
only 128M of RAM which I know i light to say the least.
