In my post to the OP I should have really said "If you want to add a
little more memory..." The only distribution I tried on my 166 system
back when it had the original 32MB RAM was Slackware, and then I was
only using the machine as a test home server - no graphical anything.
Got the extra 128MB at crucial.com, who were great for locating the
memory type I needed.
I was trying out Lynx recently, before I put on a GUI browser, and I
have to say I enjoyed using it. It's interesting to see which websites
have considered its usage when designing their site.
