Where did you get the source for pwc?
At www.saillard.org/linux/pwc is where the action is.
The oldest available rpm's at his site are for version 2.6.5..., so it would
appear that he hasn't done any work on older 2.6's.
I never tried to compile pwc, on SuSE, on a kernel older than 2.6.8. I have
always patched the kernel source to have the sources reside within the
kernel source tree. But well that's mee! Too lazy to keep track of all kind
of stray kernel modules.
Anyway you should consider to upgrade your kernel to 2.6.10 or 11 as there
has been a tremendous amount of work done on many areas of the kernel since
the version that you are running.
