Hi,
I've got a problem with a Mustek 600CP scanner. I'm running Suse 9.3
(64 bit)on an AMD 3500.
I've uncommented the line mustek_pp in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf and use
"scanner Mustek-600CP 0x378 cis600" as setting in the
/etc/sane.d/mustek_pp.conf file.
The scanner is recognised when running "SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK_PP=128
scanimage -L" as root and also when running "scanimage -L" as root.
I ran xsane (as root) and it starts scanning the image. After a short
time though, the scanner starts making a clicking noise. Anyways, xsane
is able to load the image but only parts of it. Any one who knows how
to fix this problem?
It scans fine under WinXp and the port is set to EPP 1.7 in the BIOS.
Any information that could help me solve the problem is much appreciated.
Thanks!
