So does Toshiba. Philip Morris actually says on its website you should
not smoke...

You got the point here. Toshiba is more blunt toward its customers in
the warranty terms.

On the other hand, these warranties must comply with local laws (USA in
Toshiba case), and after all they have number of lawyers preparing it.
