Not only that. When I called for tech help on product which was just
over warranty (3 months on XP), they (MS rep from India) send me to
newsgroups! Can you imagine Ford selling a car that fails once a day in
the middle of the highway (frozen Win), and then sends the driver for
help to the truck stop to ask around other drivers what is wrong with
the car?
In this case HP took over and send back up XP CD as a matter of
courtesy, not warranty.
