Hi,
I have a laptop that is a PII 200MHz with roughly 200Mb Ram, I would
like to use this to access media content on a network share over a
wireless network.
I already have a similar laptop using XP and it is being swamped so I
considered Linux.
If you have any advice for me on a particular distribution which will
accomplish some or all of the following.
Needs to be light on resources
Can boot up quickly (as the laptop will be shutdown, not in standby)
Have the ability to run LVC (or similar media player)
Can auto-detect as reasonable amount of hardware
Is easy to install or remove software
This is probably asking a lot, but any advice you would have would be
great. I have experience using Suse 9.1 Professional edition (this uses
Yast as it configuration editor and installer)
TIA
Chris aka BoobBoo
