I downloaded the latest wine for fedora core 3:
http://www.winehq.com/site/download-rh
and firefox 1.0.6 for windows. After going into firefox (through wine)
I downloaded the Shockwave 10.1 & Flash 7 Plugin (because I wanted to)
for windows by clicking 'get missing plugin' on a website needing
shockwave and a website needing flash. I've done this in the past,
but it never worked.
I restarted firefox and went to http://www.jumble.com/play.html.
It worked! Thanks to Wine and Firefox, I can now play my favorite
online game in linux.
The one problem is that once I finished with that website, I
couldn't go to another website that used Shockwave or else
it would crash. I have a feeling it's a sound problem, but
i'm not sure. The only solution I came up with is to close
firefox after going to one Shockwave site, then restart
firefox to go to another shockwave site.
No big deal, since I only need Shockwave to play Jumble.
