Linksys uses a Prism Chip set. Prism states about this chipset " several
comapies have used this chipset for purposes not intended by us" or
something like that.. see http://www.prism54.org
So it is not the chipset producer that is at fould here, but the producer of
the wireless card that just buys some chips for something they are not
intended for... SMC got the same problem...
