I'm comfortable with Mozilla Thunderbird (Windows and Linux), and i
prefer to keep using that one. So i guess this is not a real issue for me.

Normally, I'm always online (permanent cable connection). Only in the
(rare) case of some network problems, this would be handy. For the
moment, I can delay sending in the email client.
