I am still new to this Linux thing. I am in the experimenting stages. I
am currently running an older mini-itx VIA C3 system with Linux. I did
manage to create a dual boot with Windows XP on my main computer (Athlon 64,
socket 939), but Linux did not recognize my wireless card, and I couldn't
really figure out how to get ndiswrapper/w-lan to work. So I'm using the
Windows XP PC to share its network connection with the Linux box. Very,
very frustrating. I thought Linux was finally supported enough for desktop
use.
Are there any wireless-G USB dongles out there that will work with a
distro like Ubuntu without having to use ndiswrapper or compiling drivers?
