What's to configure? There are very limited options in YAST2, including the
ability to manually set the refresh rate of the monitor.

Also, I am not posting any false information. I am the one looking at my
monitor's screen, not you. The fonts are not as clear in Suse as they are
in XP and 98SE. That is fact.

As for having difficulty installing the rpms - there is a known bug in Yast
which is the exact problem I am experiencing. I have tried all sorts of
posted solutions to overcome the problem - without joy, I might add.

As I mentioned in my original post, and mention again - I am a Linux noob.
I also am not anti-Linux, but Linux is much more difficult for the average
user like me to operate than Windows. That also is a fact in my experience.
