There's plenty to configure, and there's more to Linux (and configuring)
than YAST2. Have you done any research (Google) on this? I would have to
guess "no".

Because you haven't set them up correctly. The false information I was
referring to (might have been an assumption on my part), is that I took
your comment to mean: Fonts in Linux don't look as good as they do in
Windows. If you meant "YOUR" usage of Linux, then you could be right.

Have you tried the easy way, by using the "rpm" command? Forget that
piece of crap YAST.

Perhaps it is. In my view, it's not so much that it's more difficult,
it's just that it's different, and you have to change your mindset.
You'll also have to do some reading/research on many things to understand
them and how to properly configure/administer your system. Get used to
using Google, and ask intelligent questions in places like this newsgroup,
and you'll go far.
