Hi.
I'm using Pan. What you suggest should be 'undoable' in Pan I usually do
by marking an item (center-click to mark one item, be it a thread or
single post or either shift-left-click to mark the other boundary of a
group or ctrl-left-click to select items) and then press 'm' to mark as
read. Subsequently I use either 'n' or the button for "Next unread" to
read new posts. I can still go back to read an old item if it isn't
expired.
If I'm really offended by a post or thread I can remove it from the
listing by 'Delete'. Then what is marked, disappears but what else is
later posted in a deleted thread comes up in its own thread.
That was what you needed or?
I'll admit that the writer of the Pan documentation isn't my first choice
for the Nobel prize in literature :-)
