You all will find this a very stupid question .
I have installed about 10 different distros over past 5 years with no luck .
mainly because I stuff up my XF86Config file each time trying to get twin view and what ever else to work .
I'm no specialist on that but sax2 does a pretty good job in general as for configuring X.
Last night laying in bed, brain wave
Can u run konqueror from command line to fix the file system or do u need x to run it.
Or is there other file mangers like midnight commander that u run from command line with out x.
Of course there is. If I remember it right it's installed by default. If not. install it :)
Sorry about such a stupid question .
But if I have this brain fart 5 years back I would have fuc**ed windows off .
I am about to install mandriva powerpack 2006 .
Thanks for any help
