I do use mp3 files with a portable usb mp3 player though. A friend who
uses linux is asking about an ipod (nano) (and suse 10) - what is the
current situatuioion please? Anyone using an ipod with linux? itunes
seems to be the mac/doze software, and i have not heard or seen linux
mentioned, even in groups about this. Is it really just down to mp3
with fat folders and files via usb?

tia

In KDE 3.5 it will automatically create ipod:/ on plugging the ipod in.

Thanks, useful to know! -- ac .
