Funny. I have a raid-1 setup with lilo (raid-extra-boot=mbr) on 2 ide drives
(hdb, hdd) and I have to turn off my external usb2 harddrive (found as sdX)
whenever I run lilo - otherwise I get exactly that error message. So it's
just the opposite of your problem. I guess, lilo cannot handle scsi
(emulation) together with standard ide.
