Hallo everyone,
I normally use RealPlayer to listen to streaming audio (e.g. BBC) but
find that there are a few stations which demand Windows Media Player
Arrgghh!
Of course this is a complete pain in the a*s* and those stations should
use an audio player that can be accessed by all OS's but I am curious to
know whether there are any work-arounds and whether I can get to hear
these stations under Linux? Maybe using Wine?
mplayer and the mplayerplug-in

http://mplayerplug-in.sourceforge.net/
I have this problems sometimes as well... the website plug-in just starts
searching for Windows Media Player and not for the wmp-file player on your
computer, verry anoying.. I did not find a work around though.. Mplayer and
Kaffeine just are not accepted...
