That sucks. I don't have a solution for you, but I do know a
workaround. WEP is known to be ridiculously easy to crack. Instead of
relying on that to "secure" your network, I suggest you keep an open
net, and secure it with a VPN solution like OpenVPN. I do that here at
home, and it works great. Without the VPN-connection, the only thing
people can do is download OpenVPN and request a VPN certificate ;-)
