Paul Martin enlightened us with:
Hello all can someone tell me what are the most important files to
save and store on different removable drive for backup.
Any file that is of importance to you. Nobody can answer that
question.
I am new to Linux and would like to give it a serious test for this
reason I would like to use it for real so e mails and documents that
I create. where are they all saved
Where you store them. Really, I can't give you any more specific
answer, because you don't even mention what programs you use and where
you save your files.
and is it just a matter of copying a saved folder back into a fresh
install ?
Probably, yes.
PS: Stop the double and triple spaces. It makes your post really hard
to read.

The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
