Anyone have any recomendations for an easy to use, no hassles OS. Will be using Scribus alot as well as Open Office on my Packard Bell Notebook.
Things aren't always easy when using a laptop, this has to do with the manufacturers don't share all data needed with the Linux developers, I do suggest you take a look linux on laptop site, they don't list many PB's, but try to find one that is as close as to the one you have and see what distro has been installed on the machine, pick that one as you will have a small howto and someone to ask.

When it comes to "easy to use", it's quite the same for most distros, try to avoid meta-distros like Gentoo and Arch Linux, as those requiers you to compile everything.
