I agree. I used to have a killfie when I used a newsreader. Switched
(regretfully) to clearwire for internet provider and they do not have a
news server so I am using google groups which royally sucks. I am
going to find a free news server service, or one I can pay a small fee
for, to get back to using pan news reader client and then I can plonk
idiots I encounter on groups/usenet.
I am back in business with a linux news client, pan, as I discovered a
completely free news server,
http://news.aioe.org/
I did not even have to sign up or anything, i just put their address ip
into pan and now i can skip using google groups. Sweet. Now I can use
plonk/killfile.
