The lab's board concluded that a modified mission was appropriate
because Linux is now mainstream, and companies have become adept on
their own at some of the collaborative work OSDL was founded to
oversee,
Temple said Monday.

I heard it was mainstream 10 years ago. There are too many Linux,
seemed
that there is no standard.

Nonsense.

Hummm.. everydoby contributes to en.wikipedia.org freely & unrealiably to
promote themselves.

Hummm., these are official standards, if you are not capable to
find their official Homepage, even if if they are linked from the
wiki articles I fear I can not help you.

There is a web based PC Magazine that shows Windows XP took 97% of the PC
market. I do not hate Linux, I do whatever it takes to make money.

Great then use Doze and stop wasting my time.

BTW
Good riddance

I think "not standard" was meant as "there are just too many versions of
Linux" ... for no good reason.
