I have installed the new tzdata RPM for the 2007 Daylight savings time
change.
Execute:
root@H00860a etc]# /usr/sbin/zdump -v US/Central | grep 2007
US/Central Sun Mar 11 07:59:59 2007 UTC = Sun Mar 11 01:59:59 2007 CST
isdst=0 gmtoff=-21600
US/Central Sun Mar 11 08:00:00 2007 UTC = Sun Mar 11 03:00:00 2007 CDT
isdst=1 gmtoff=-18000
US/Central Sun Nov 4 06:59:59 2007 UTC = Sun Nov 4 01:59:59 2007 CDT
isdst=1 gmtoff=-18000
US/Central Sun Nov 4 07:00:00 2007 UTC = Sun Nov 4 01:00:00 2007 CST
isdst=0 gmtoff=-21600
and get the correct output.
When I change the time to Sun Mar 11 01:59:59 the increments to
02:00:00 not 03:00:00.
Are there other changes I need to make? How can I test this?
Maybe it's a buggy one, even RHEL2 is up on 2006m.
