Since this might be a new battery you will have to fully charge and
discharge the battery at least 5 times. This is fairly common with new LION
batteries as well as capacity loss with age. Typically LION batteries lose
between 10 and 20 % of the design capacity per yer with normal usage.

It is a good idea to check the date of manufacturer for both the battery and
laptop, the dates may differ a bit (2-3 months) which is understandable. If
the battery date is over a year older then the laptop then ask for a
warranty replacement.

It is a good idea to discharge the battery fully at least once a month. And
if on AC for long periods (greater then 3 days without discharge) it is
adviseable to disconnect the battery, the laptop's heat and other factors
has negative affects on the battry chemical nature when left in a fully
charged state over a long time.
