Fix the "Global parameter guest account found in service section!"

Check, done.

What I would suggest is to start with a stripped down smb.conf. Start
with an empty file and add ONLY what is needed to get samba running and
build one step at a time. It looks to me you are trying to add advanced
stuff without even knowing if the basics are working.

This was originally a sample config, and I've edited little bits here and
there. I think my biggest enemy right now is poor time management.
Basically, I try computer stuff for 10 to 15 minutes at a time before
getting pulled off in another direction to do something else. I know it
takes more than that, but I have obligations elsewhere and I'm also trying
to keep my fiancee happy...

Also, I would read up on what the parameters "print command" means.

Will do as time permits. That would probably help me out a bit to know
anyway.

I also asked for your distribution, samba and cups versions. Since you
seem unwilling to give this information and since options have changed
with versions, I can not really help you.

Not unwilling, just forgot... See "time management" for why I do things
before my coffee kicks in (lol).

Anywhoo:

Distribution is Debian, probably should call it unstable. I have
repositories from all across the board, including some Ubuntu ones, so I
generally call it "Debian Meltingpot". Was installed from media for
3.0r1, and has been "apt-get upgrade"d several times in recent history.

Samba version 3.0.23d
Cups version 1.2.x (as best as I can tell; not sure of CLI command to
use, but http://localhost:631/ and the CUPS test page both say 1.2.x.

Sorry for not providing these the first time.
