Thank you! The NoDCC option fixed my 640x480 problem. I can now run at 1280x1024, as desired.

This lead me to believe that my Radeon X800 Pro shows up with two different addresses: 1:0:0 for what seems to be one head, and 1:0:1 for the other head?
Nevertheless, I've gone with your suggestion and made both devices BusID "PCI:1:0:0", differentiating them with screen numbers. Is this the right way to do it?

Unfortunately, I still have a little work left, since only one of my displays is operating right now.
I think the problem is that only one of my "devices" is being defined correctly, and the other is not. It seems to be the "Radeon X800 Secondary Head" that is not working.
To illustrate, I've set the default layout to be "Dual Monitor Layout", which is set up like this:

You need to fix your BusID, as it's one card, it has only one BusID, so
you need to decide which one is the right

If you are unsure, you get it with lspci.
